Life
Sciences
Ultraclean components and
systems are critical to the success of the Pharmaceutical and Biotech
Industries. Requirements for clean products and product containment
are becoming more stringent and any step of the process that can
potentially introduce contaminants or lead to operator exposure need
to be addressed. We provide a number of solutions for product
containment, single use mixing and product storage.
|

|

|
Contained Transfer
Contained powder transfer bags have been
developed especially for the Pharmaceutical / Biotech industries to
protect the operator from the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient
and/or the API from operator-borne contamination. The bottle shaped
bag has been designed for easy transfer of powders with a PE
Triclamp connector for safe and easy connection. High containment
can be met in conjunction with a split butterfly valve.
|
|

|

|
Single Use Mixing Systems
The single use mixing system is designed to eliminate contact between the
impeller or stirring rod with the ingredients. Applications include
mixing ingredients for intermediate and final drug product for
liquid with liquid and/or powder with powder applications. This
technology provides numerous advantages such as the elimination of
cleaning and sterilization between batches, greater process
flexibility and the elimination of cross contamination.

and recommend a solution to meet our customer’s specific
applications. We will assist in the installation and our service
engineers are available to attend site for configuration,
calibration and commissioning. To ensure the instruments deliver
optimum performance we provide support contracts where our
engineers will visit site on a planned or emergency basis to carry
out routine or preventative maintenance, instrument calibration and
fault finding.
Procurement Services: In any project the selection and procurement
of instrumentation and control equipment is one of the most time
consuming functions and requires a significant engineering
resource. Hanley Measurement and Control have over many years
provided a specialist procurement service to fast track the selection
and supply of process instrumentation and control equipment. For
both large and small projects we can allocate our considerable
resource and expertise to provide a one stop solution for
Instrument selection, tendering process, commercial and technical
